Fallow deer in the New Forest

A little acrylic painting based on sketches of a group of fallow does resting in the shade. They had no idea I was watching and I eventually managed to creep away without disturbing them. It's a little sweet, but I rather like it, and it does seem to capture that quiet and peaceful moment deep in the woods.
