The Alps are amazing for wildlife, scenery and walking, with inspiration around every corner. This was a quick sketch, grabbed during a descent from a mountain refuge. Mont Viso is very shapely, and that stream really was an extraordinary blue colour, and freezing cold, filled with meltwater from snow higher up the slopes.
