I love St Abbs. It has beautiful and dramatic landscape together with some of the finest seabird cliffs in the UK. This was a watercolour done on the spot, with some quick charcoal preliminary drawing. The colours in the cliffs are always amazing. Thrift is still flowering up here in Scotland, long after it has faded down in Cornwall.
